To obtain a residence permit, the following documents are required:

* A written application (or typed) to the Minister of the Interior;

* A photocopy of the passport valid, with the arrival in Senegal;

* A criminal record of the country of origin, not older than 3 months

* An extract of birth certificate ;

* A medical certificate of less than 3 months

* A repatriation deposit which varies according to nationality of the investor (75,000 CFA francs for French nationals) or an exemption from payment of the said bail granted by the Minister of Interior. Cooperating and NGOs are exempt from the deposit;

* Tax stamps with a total value of 15,200 CFA francs;

* Three (3) passport photos;

* Professional References (status of the company, Registry of Commerce etc ...) The business permit entitles a foreign identity card. For other nationalities, contact the Aliens' Police / Ministry of the Interior.
